HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Power was fully restored to nearly 2,000 customers in Waikiki Monday.
Hawaiian Electric reported the outage at around 10:20 a.m. impacting approximately 1,820 homes and businesses in the Kapahulu, Kapiolani Park, Diamond Head areas.
The Honolulu Police Department said the outage impacted traffic lights and advised drivers to plan for heavy traffic and delays along Monsarrat Avenue between Paki and Campbell avenues…
