WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Fire crews in Winston-Salem are fighting a house fire at the corner of High Point Road and Ridgewood Road.
Firefighters were called out to the scene just before 3 this morning. Eleven crews responded, including the Kernersville Fire Department.
The Winston-Salem Fire Department says the house was abandoned and boarded up, which made it difficult to fight the fire, because it is not safe to go inside.
They do not believe anyone is hurt at this time.
