‘Makes no sense’: Woman who lost car to alleged ‘TikTok Trickster’ speaks out after his arrest

SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WALA) – A man police call the “TikTok Trickster” is back behind bars after more than a year on the run, and an alleged victim is speaking out about his arrest.

Brenton Wayne Fillers, 56, was arrested last week in Wake County, North Carolina, on a fugitive warrant. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.

Spanish Fort police have been looking for Fillers since 2023, when investigators say he met a Baldwin County woman on TikTok and took off with her car…
