Several schools west of Rochester closed Tuesday; Travel advisory in Genesee County

GENESEE COUNTY, N.Y. — A round of lake effect snow west of Rochester has caused some schools to close on Tuesday and has prompted a travel advisory in Genesee County.

The First Alert Weather team is tracking periods of moderate to heavy snow to the west, especially in Genesee and Wyoming counties, where winter storm warnings are up through Wednesday afternoon. You can see our latest forecast here.
