The identity of the victim that died in a structure fire that occurred in Shallotte on Jan. 17 has been released.
Wade Young Milam II was pronounced deceased after being found inside a burning residence on Jan. 17, according to the town of Shallotte. Another individual, identified as Cynthia Prine Milam, was removed from the structure and is currently receiving medical treatment for her injuries. Two dogs were also removed from the building.
