ROUND ROCK, Texas — The California-based electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian Automotive is planning an expansion in Central Texas.
The company, which is a direct competitor to Austin-based Tesla, filed Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) paperwork on Jan. 13 to build a 46,000-square-foot service and sales center at 140 Crossroads Drive in Round Rock, just off Texas 45.
