Troopers say a woman is dead after walking into traffic late at night in Arabi.
“On January 18, 2026, shortly after 11:30 p.m., Troopers responded to a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian on LA-39,” Trooper Danny Berrincha explained in a news release.
