Fort Collins may be having a warm winter, but Old Town Square will soon be seeing a little — albeit manufactured — cold.
Sculptor Thomas Barlow is returning to Old Town Square for two nights of live ice carving Feb. 6 and Feb. 7. Barlow will shape two large ice sculptures from ice, with one sculpture being finished each night, according to documents from the Fort Collins Downtown Development Authority’s December board meeting. The sculptures will be illuminated with LED lights and remain in the square until they melt.
