Editor’s note; update 7:30 p.m. Monday: Ava Wall has been found and is safe, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said Monday night.
In a media release just after 7 p.m., the sheriff’s office confirmed that the 15-year-old had been located and secured by law enforcement. Sheriff’s detectives located Ava Wall following a social media tip that led to the Eugene area.
Family members told the Rogue Valley Times on Monday night that they began traveling to Eugene as soon as they were notified. Sheriff’s office officials said potential criminal charges could be considered for individuals who harbored the runaway teen.
