Man accused of killing girlfriend while drunk at Gilbert home

GILBERT, AZ (AZFamily) — Police say a man shot and killed his girlfriend while drunk at a Gilbert home this week.

On Monday, shortly before 1 a.m., Gilbert police received a 911 call from the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Judah Chesley. The 911 dispatcher asked for the address of the emergency, and Chesley replied, “Ma’am, my ex, well, now it’s my ex, woke me up in a drunken stupor,” court documents detail.

The dispatcher continued asking for the address, to which Chesley replied, “I don’t even know what to do, my parents aren’t even coming down.” After asking again, Chesley reportedly told the dispatcher, “That’s the thing, everything in life leads up to this. I don’t know what to do.”…
