A Cuyahoga Falls woman will spend at least four years in prison and must repay the elderly woman from whom she stole $160,000.
Judge Laurie J. Pittman sentenced 40-year-old Elizabeth Marie Cunningham on Jan. 20 in Portage County Common Pleas Court to four to six years in prison and ordered that she pay $162,564.58 to the Kent victim.
Now 71 years old, the Kent woman reported to police that in December 2024 she discovered someone had withdrawn $80,000 from a retirement account. She also found multiple credit card accounts about which she was unaware, according to a Kent police report…
