“Summer House” Stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Announce Split

After four years of marriage and a relationship often played out in the public eye, “Summer House” stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula have announced their separation. The couple shared the news Monday on social media, confirming long-standing rumors about the state of their relationship.

In a joint statement posted on their respective Instagram stories, Cooke and Batula stated, “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple. We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

They acknowledged the irony of requesting privacy given their public relationship, adding, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

Speculation about the couple’s troubles has been circulating for over a year. At BravoCon 2025 in November, Cooke spoke to Access Hollywood, admitting their relationship, which spans 10 years and four years of marriage, all documented on camera, “hasn’t been easy.” He also hinted at “trolling info” impacting their journey.

Around the same time, an “insider” reportedly told Page Six that while the two were facing “a challenging time,” they were committed to resolving their issues. However, celebrity rumor account Deuxmoi received a message in December indicating the marriage was over, with commenters noting Batula’s social media posts often lacked Cooke’s presence at significant events.

A year prior, Batula had told Us Weekly that they had sought therapy and were actively working on their relationship. “It’s very eye-opening getting to watch yourself back [on TV] and see how you handle different situations,” she said.

“So, we’ve learned a lot and have grown from it. … We’re still working on it.”

Cooke and Batula’s relationship began during the first season of “Summer House,” filmed in 2016. Cooke proposed in 2018 during the third season’s finale, but their wedding was postponed until September 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, eventually airing in the Season 6 finale.

Both reality stars are set to appear in “Summer House” Season 10, premiering February 3rd and available for streaming on Peacock the following day. Bravo has indicated that viewers can expect to see “tension” between the two during the upcoming season.

“Summer House,” which debuted in 2017, chronicles a group of individuals sharing a Hamptons beach house during summer weekends. Batula, who started in a recurring role, became a prominent figure alongside Cooke as the cast evolved over the show’s run.

Reflecting on their unique experiences at BravoCon 2024, Batula noted, “Having these experiences is not something that people get to do or would do. I mean, again, we’re in our 30s and 40s, and you wouldn’t really share a house together like this. Being able to have these moments to look back on and these experiences is something that’s really special.”
