Longtime Chemistry professor Peter Jordan and his wife, Barbara Palmer, gave a “pivotal” $18 million gift to an Eastern Massachusetts college, according to an announcement Friday.
Jordan worked at Brandeis University for nearly 50 years and retired in 2011. Palmer served as associate dean, university registrar and head of institutional research at Brandeis.
