CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — One week after being found guilty of murder, an 83-year-old man’s legal team has submitted a motion for a new trial.
On Tuesday, the legal counsel of William Brock, 83, filed a motion for a new trial and a motion for judgement acquittal, saying that Brock was treated unfairly during the trial, which ended on Wednesday.
Brock’s attorneys, according to the court documents, said the jury was not instructed correctly, leading to an unfair and legally flawed trial.
