EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -Frigid temps eased a bit on Tuesday. After lows bottomed in the single digits, sunshine helped push the temperature into the lower 30s. A fast-moving system will bring a chance for a light wintry mix to the Tri-State on Wednesday morning. A few slick spots will be possible on untreated roads, but rising temps should melt any ice fairly quickly on Wednesday morning. Saturday and Sunday are First Alert Weather Days. The models are coming into a little better agreement on potential accumulating snow on Saturday and Sunday. Timing and amounts are still in question, but should become more focused in the next day or two.
