HENDERSON, Ky. — Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., on Jan. 14, hailed nearly $2.3 million in new state grants for Kentucky’s riverports as “critical investments” that reinforce the commonwealth’s position as a top logistics destination for manufacturers.
The funding, announced through the Kentucky Public Riverport Construction and Maintenance Program, includes more than $500,000 for projects in Henderson County and Owensboro. It represents the final round of awards before the General Assembly sets the next biennial budget.
