Family mourns Georgia man killed in Greensboro hit-and-run: ‘Hurts me to my soul that he is gone’

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The family of a man killed in a hit-and-run on NC 68 in Greensboro is mourning his death and asking for answers after learning he was discovered more than ten hours after police believe he was hit by a vehicle.

Police responded to NC 68 between Gallimore Dairy Road and Interstate-40 on Saturday morning to a call about a person lying on the side of the road.

They discovered 29-year-old Chas Sellers, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His sisters say he was in town for work, and they are reeling from the loss…
