Marion County commission renames Sheriff’s Operations Complex

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – The Marion County Commission unanimously voted to rename the Sheriff’s Operations Complex in honor of former Sheriff Don Moreland, whose leadership left an impact on the county.

Moreland became Sheriff of Marion County in 1972 and played a big role in modernizing the department.
