COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A person died after being struck by multiple vehicles Sunday night on I-285 in Cobb County, police say.
The Cobb County Police Department said its officers responded just after 7 p.m. to the “scene of a collision involving a pedestrian that was struck by more than one vehicle.” That happened on the interstate near South Cobb Drive.
“The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. Our STEP Unit was mobilized to conduct the investigation. We will not have further details until they have completed their preliminary investigation,” a police statement said…
