Louisville man charged with cutting, stealing ‘critical infrastructure wiring’

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 50-year-old Louisville man was arrested Tuesday and charged with cutting and removing “critical infrastructure wiring” in Jefferson County.

According to a news release, detectives with Louisville Metro Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) arrested Noah Duke after finding wire on Jan. 18 that had been cut, stolen and staged in a hidden area of Old Harrods Trace for later collection. That’s off the Gene Snyder Freeway near Taylorsville Road.

An arrest citation said detectives linked a car to the crime was found nearby. When they pulled it over, they said they found evidence including tools to cut wire…
