Task force arrests teen charged in fatal Soulsville shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 17-year-old was arrested by the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) and charged with first-degree murder on Monday in connection to a Soulsville shooting, according to the United States Marshals.

Agents said they arrested the teen in the 3400 block of Old Getwell Road in the airport area after an incident in the 800 block of East Alston Avenue on Christmas.

According to the U.S. Marshals, the teenager, along with two other people entered a residence and shot a victim multiple times in the upper torso.
