MEMPHIS, Tenn — Officials from the City of Memphis have announced that they are keeping an eye on weather forecasts in the coming days, planning for a potential snow and ice mitigation plan.
For the plan, crews will clear one lane in each direction along major roadways, aligning with the approach used in other cities across the country. The Division of Public Works operates 15 snow and ice removal trucks and six brine trucks, according to a statement from the city, which goes further to state that the city will deploy snowplows if more than two inches of snow are forecast.
