PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pensacola man has pleaded guilty after threatening to kill a local police officer.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 19-year-old Tamal W. Jenkins pleaded guilty to interstate threatening communication with intent to extort.
The release said that Pensacola Police Department officers arrested suspects in a homicide in July 2025 and, days after the arrest, one of the officers received an electronic message “making threats against her life” for taking one of the suspects into custody.
The threats were then traced back to Jenkins, according to the release.
