Hartselle farmer Mike Reeves was recently appointed to Alabama U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency (FSA) state committee.
Reeves owns Reeves Peach Farm, a multi-generation fruit and vegetable farm located off Alabama 36. He joins four other Alabama farmers on the committee.
According to the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries, the FSA state committee oversees farm program and county committee operations, cultivates relationships with industry stakeholders and informs other farmers about FSA programs.
