AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Conditions this weekend continue to look worse with an even longer period below freezing expected and now snow also in the forecast.
Forecast models continue to trend colder from Friday-Tuesday. The panhandles could face up to 100 hours below freezing.
Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing early Friday morning, and there is a growing chance the area does not climb back above freezing until Tuesday afternoon.
