SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Border Patrol set off explosions on Tuesday near Mount Cristo Rey in Sunland Park as construction of the border barrier continues.
Border Patrol officials confirmed the controlled explosions are part of what they are calling “demolition work to even the terrain” in the area as the federal government continues to build the border wall.
