Security video helps lead to arrest in Madison robbery

MADISON, Wis. — Madison police said security video helped identify a suspect in a robbery on the city’s north east side, leading to an arrest.

The robbery was reported at a business in the 2700 block of East Johnson Street at around 12:45 p.m. on Sunday. A 72-year-old man reported that he was approached from behind by a person who reached into his pocket and stole money.

The two briefly fought, but the man was sent falling to the ground…
