LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) — After 18 months of searching, waiting and hoping, Jerica Hamre’s friends and loved ones gathered at their family church in rural Nebraska to celebrate her life.
Her parents, Craig and Lisa, remember their third-oldest child as the little girl who used to paint her dog’s nails and play in the Republican River with her siblings.
“She’s kind of the class clown of our household,” Craig Hamre said of his daughter. “Just very fun-loving and adventurous.”
