Adam Keiss, 34, of Clearwater currently in custody after shooting threat of parents

Sumner Newscow report — Adam Keiss, 34, of Clearwater, is currently in Sumner County Detention Center stemming from a shooting threat to his parents Saturday evening, south of Clearwater.

Keis is currently being held in custody, awaiting formal charges from the Sumner County Attorney’s Office. He is currently being held on an arrest warrant for criminal threat, theft, criminal possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of a weapon while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

On Saturday, around 10:09 p.m., Sumner County deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of W. 140th Avenue in reference to a possible disturbance involving Keiss, who was threatening to kill his parents. The suspect removed a pistol from a safe and was subsequently locked outside the residence. The victims reported hearing loud bangs from both the front and rear doors and believed gunshots were being fired into the home…
