A man is dead and a shooter is at large after a shooting in the 1500 block of Highway 99 in Cottage Grove the morning of Jan. 20.
Cottage Grove police responded to the scene around 5:30 a.m. after reports that a man was found unconscious on the ground, bleeding, according to Cottage Grove Police Chief Cory Chase.
Officers arrived to find the man with an apparent gunshot wound. They attempted CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, Chase said…
