While on duty at the Myrtle Beach Fire Department in South Carolina, young firefighter Chris Osterhaus heard a strange sound coming from one of the fire trucks.

When he checked it out, he was shocked to discover four newborn kittens nestled on a coiled fire hose. How they got there? That’s still a mystery.
