PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA — New Haven Pizza Truck is preparing to open within the next few weeks, bringing Connecticut-style pizza to events and private bookings across Florida.
Owner Mustafa Telawi and business partner Tariq Hamza told Business Debut the mobile operation will serve customers throughout a wide service territory spanning from Miami to Orlando, FL.
What to Expect
The concept is inspired by the pizza culture of New Haven, Connecticut, where Telawi spent nearly two decades working in established pizzerias. The food truck is built around a traditional wood-fired pizza oven imported directly from Italy and installed inside the trailer to replicate the cooking method used in New Haven.
New Haven Pizza Truck will operate at community events, farmers markets, and private gatherings, while also offering on-site catering for weddings, birthdays, graduations, and corporate events.
