VIRGINIA — Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery reported Tuesday night in Prince George County.
According to the Prince George County Police Department, the incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, on Blue Jay Street in the Pine Ridge neighborhood. Officers said a woman was sitting inside her vehicle when she was approached by a suspect.
Police said the suspect opened the woman’s car door, displayed a handgun, and demanded her belongings. Authorities reported that the woman was able to pull the door shut and drive away from the area safely. No injuries were reported, and no property was taken…
