Over the last few years, Memphis has gone from a city with limited coffee choices to a city with a bewildering array of coffee options. All have certain differences, but a fair number of the recent ones are mostly similar, being drive-through or walk-up only, and remarkably similar food and beverage offerings. But Dutch Bros is quite popular in other parts of the United States, so now that it has come to Shelby County, I drove out to Collierville to see if anything was different about it.
At first glance, Dutch Bros is not much different from other drive-up chains, such as Seven Brew, Shadrach’s or Scooter’s. It has the usual assortment of hot, cold and frozen coffee drinks, shakes, teas, energy drinks, cocoa, smoothies and sodas. It also has snacks, primarily…..
