FAIRFAX, Iowa (KCRG) – The Fairfax City Council voted to reinstate the city clerk they had removed earlier this month, but only on a temporary contract basis.
Cynthia Stimson, who served as city clerk for 16 years before being voted out, returned to address the council about stalled city operations. She is now working as a consultant at $80 per hour.
