WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Nearly 200 volunteers turned Century 2 into a construction zone Monday, building walls for two Habitat for Humanity homes in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s call to service.
The volunteers constructed interior and exterior walls for a three-bedroom and four-bedroom house.
“So we have about two-hundred volunteers here today and what we’re going to do is build a three-bedroom and a four-bedroom house… all the interior and exterior walls,” said Christine Moser, Wichita Habitat for Humanity Community Outreach Manager.
