San Antonio will have to wait a little longer for any shot at beneficial rain, as patchy fog gives way to mostly sunny skies Wednesday. Instead, the Alamo City will be bracing for an injection of arctic air and freezing rain this weekend that could make South Texas dangerously icy.
Under so much sunshine Wednesday, San Antonio daytime temperatures are likely to hit 70 degrees, which would be several degrees above normal for the city, according to the National Weather Service. The warmth will be accompanied by light south-southwest winds of around 5 mph.
