After being closed for construction for the past two months, Woodburn’s food cart lot is gearing up for a reopening.
The Lot-Highway 99, a food cart hub on Industrial Avenue in Woodburn, is set to reopen Feb 1. The food cart lot closed Nov. 20 for the construction of new sewage infrastructure and the addition of a large charcoal grill for chicken in the center of the hub.
According to lot co-owner Martin Hodges, the soft reopening on Feb. 1 will also come with a few new food carts, including a sushi cart and a birria cart. Hodges says the resurfacing of the lot will take place in the spring, as the weather did not permit it during this round of construction…
