A tragic incident unfolded this past Sunday when a 24-year-old man lost his life in a vehicular accident in the city’s Eastway Division. According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, Bryan Alexander Guillen Ramirez was found deceased at the scene.
The accident occurred on the 4900 block of Central Avenue shortly after 2 p.m., and emergency services, including Charlotte Fire and MEDIC were dispatched in response to the crash. When they arrived, they discovered Ramirez inside a 2008 Honda Civic, which had collided with a tree off the side of the road. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene, and speed is believed to have played a significant part in the collision. Authorities are awaiting a toxicology report to determine if impairment was a factor, in the accident. The victim’s family has been informed of the unfortunate event…
