OHIO — One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night on U.S. 40 in Franklin County, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched around 9:18 p.m. to U.S. 40 near Darby Creek Drive following reports of a serious crash. Investigators said a GMC pickup truck was traveling westbound on U.S. 40 while a Cadillac CTS was heading eastbound on the same roadway.
Authorities said the pickup truck attempted to turn south onto Darby Creek Drive, crossing the eastbound lanes of U.S. 40, when it was struck on the passenger side by the Cadillac.
