LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A Columbia man has been sentenced to more than five decades in prison following a Lexington County jury’s verdict in a 2022 deadly shooting.
According Eleventh Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard, Chendric J. Brown, 27, was convicted by a jury of murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting death of Harold L. Peak, III, 22, in the Princeton Road area of Lexington County.
Brown was sentenced to 54 years in prison and is not eligible for parole. Chief Administrative Judge Debra R. McCaslin imposed the sentence on the murder charge, with 30 years concurrent on the attempted murder charge…
