PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An Alpine Township man is facing charges in connection to two burglaries in Plainfield Township.
In late summer 2025, deputies from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) responded to a business break-in on West River Drive Northeast. A suspect entered a restaurant and stole cash, along with employee tips.

There were limited leads at the time, and no clear suspect.
Just before Christmas 2025, another break-in occurred at the same restaurant, with similar items taken. KCSO detectives were able to identify a suspect.
