MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man who pleaded guilty to trying to kill a pregnant woman three years ago was sentenced to 15 years in prison, according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office.
The DA’s office made the announcement Wednesday, saying that Jerome Walker admitted to shooting the woman in August 2023, when she was three months pregnant, during an “apartment gathering” in Memphis.
