Cities hoping for a budget boost didn’t get one. Gov. Kathy Hochul kept municipal aid flat in her 2026–27 budget proposal, according to The Citizen.
The plan holds the Aid and Incentives for Municipalities program at the same level it’s been for nearly 15 years.
