The Town of Poolesville has declared a winter weather emergency in anticipation of substantial snowfall expected this weekend.
According to the town, the snow emergency will begin at 6 PM on Saturday, January 24, and remain in effect until noon on Tuesday, January 27. The declaration was issued by the town manager under section 12.7 of the Town of Poolesville code to support snow removal and public safety efforts.
Residents are being asked to park all vehicles in their driveways during the emergency period.
