WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A Wilmington chef has been named a semifinalist for one of the culinary industry’s most prestigious awards.
Dean Neff, owner of Seabird and Zora’s Market, was selected as one of 20 semifinalists for Outstanding Chef in the 2026 James Beard Awards. The recognition marks Neff’s third year as a semifinalist, having also received nominations in 2023 and 2024.
