FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — The family of a 34-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run earlier this month in Fairfax County is pleading for those involved to come forward, saying there is no explanation for why no one stopped to help.
Police say Demarko Shamsiddin was killed Jan. 7 at the intersection of Richmond Highway and Mount Eagle Drive in the Huntington area. Investigators say Shamsiddin was in the roadway and acting erratically when he was struck by multiple vehicles. None of the drivers stopped.
