EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The man who died while he was in El Paso police custody last month has been identified, and authorities are now addressing the autopsy findings released by the El Paso County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Paul Dominguez died on December 28, 2025 after police responded to a “drunk disturbance call” at 4907 Crossroads Drive. An autopsy report reportedly determined that the manner of death for Dominguez was a homicide.
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, El Paso police released the following statement:
“The El Paso Police Department (EPPD) is aware of the autopsy findings released by the El Paso County Medical Examiner’s Office regarding the December 28, 2025, death of Paul Dominguez. We understand that incidents like this are deeply concerning; the department remains committed to a transparent and thorough examination of the facts.”…
