LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — During a hearing held on Wednesday, officials with Arkansas State Police discussed their role in enforcing federal immigration laws.
The hearing was attended by several lawmakers in Little Rock, including at least one who wasn’t on the committee that was meeting.
“I was interested in today’s [Wednesday’s] topic of immigration enforcement with the state police because I wanted to ensure, number one, that it was being handled,” said State Sen. Fred Love (D-Pulaski County). “And it was carefully being handled for the citizens of Arkansas.”…
