NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A lot to talk about in weather as we have a short term warmup followed by the coldest air of winter moving in this weekend.
This warmup comes with clouds and even some rain chances. Expect highs Wednesday to climb to near 70 but rain showers are expected to roll in by afternoon and evening. These won’t amount to much, as they will stay light in nature.
We’re staying warm until the weekend when this Arctic front approaches us from the north. I’m expecting the frontal passage to occur late Saturday so even into our weekend days, we may stay quite warm. The front blows through Saturday night and temperatures collapse heading into Sunday. It’ll be windy, cold and wet to finish off the weekend…
